Thailandometers is a tool to
present statistics on Thailand’s population, health, society, economy and environment in
real time. The objective of Thailandometers is to increase public awareness of these
significant issues and current trends that affect them.
The statistics presented on
the website are estimations produced by the IPSR working group on Population Projection.
The registration and survey data used are from various sources, such as the civil
registration system of the Ministry of the Interior, surveys conducted by the National
Statistical Office and other organizations, and health data from the Ministry of Public
Health. The working group utilizes these data to estimate the rates of change of various
indications in order to visualize their changes according to the real time.
These statistics can be
printed at any moment, but should be remembered that they are estimates rather than
actual statistics.
